Career Center Employer Partnerships: Your Questions Answered
Grad CCD has employer contacts based on relationships developed over several years between advisors, alumni, faculty and staff. Formal outreach is done via invitation to our signature recruiting events. In addition, industry focused outreach is conducted to engage with and recruit companies to host panels, pitch competitions, info sessions, or to post job opportunities to Career Connect.
Companies, local, regional, and global, hear about the F.W. Olin School of Business via alumni, social media, or from their networks when they are looking for strong talent. They will reach out to Grad CCD to set up time to discuss their hiring needs with the appropriate advisor, and the best way to get in front of students, and/or post opportunities. See this page for prospective employers.
Many companies prefer not to recruit at career fairs, and instead plan specialized outreach to groups of students.
Schedule an appointment with your Career Advisor to work on a plan to strategize your job search at this company. Your advisor can share any insights on the company shared by past Babson students and alumni. You advisor will then do their best to leverage our network for you and share similar companies and roles in that industry.
Have the employer email our Director, Jessica Chance at jchance@babson.edu to discuss how they can work Grad CCD to establish their presence/brand with the Babson graduate community. You can also share our prospective employer page with shares all the ways employers can engage with Babson Grad CCD.
If you’re planning to invite a company to campus or host a career‑focused event, we highly recommend reaching out to Grad CCD in advance by emailing us at gradccd@babson.edu or letting you Career Advisor know.
This helps ensure the content aligns with our career programming, avoids duplication with events we may already be planning, and allows us to support you with coordination or potential funding
Leadership Development & Rotational Programs
Leadership Development & Rotational Programs can be a great way to gain industry experience. While both programs aim to develop skills and provide career growth, leadership development programs are more focused on preparing individuals for leadership positions, whereas rotational programs offer a broader range of experiences across different areas of a company.
You can view a list of leadership and rotational curated by our team here. It’s important to keep in mind that each company may have different hiring timelines and position requirements. We encourage you to do you own research and check Career Connect for additional opportunities.
