The Senior Director of Marketing will be responsible for leading the development and execution of Chelsea’s marketing strategy, with a strong focus on digital marketing, e-commerce, and content marketing. This role requires a blend of technical expertise, strategic vision, and an understanding of the American luxury products market. The ideal candidate will have deep experience in digital marketing, driving online growth, and creating captivating content that resonates with our discerning clientele.

Key Responsibilities:

1 Digital Strategy & Execution:

◦ Develop and implement a comprehensive digital marketing strategy that enhances brand visibility and drives online sales.

◦ Lead and optimize paid media campaigns, including Google Ads, social media advertising, and retargeting efforts.

◦ Utilize advanced SEO/SEM strategies to increase organic search traffic and rankings.

◦ Manage and improve CRM and email marketing campaigns, focusing on personalized customer journeys.

2 E-Commerce & Website Management:

◦ Oversee the company’s e-commerce platform, ensuring a seamless, luxurious online shopping experience.

◦ Lead website optimization, including UI/UX improvements, mobile responsiveness, and conversion rate optimization (CRO).

◦ Collaborate with internal teams and external agencies to ensure website content is updated, relevant, and reflects the brand’s heritage.

◦ Analyze website performance metrics (traffic, engagement, conversion) and provide actionable insights to improve performance.

3 Content Marketing & Brand Storytelling:

◦ Develop and execute a compelling content marketing strategy, including blogs, videos, social media, and email campaigns, that tells our unique brand story and connects with high-end consumers.

◦ Collaborate with designers, photographers, and external agencies to create stunning visual and written content that showcases the craftsmanship of our timepieces.

◦ Manage social media channels, building a community of brand advocates and engaging with influencers in the luxury space.

4 Data Analytics & Performance Tracking:

◦ Utilize data analytics tools (Google Analytics, Klaviyo, Salesforce, etc.) to track and report on sales and marketing performance, identifying opportunities for improvement and growth.

◦ Conduct competitive analysis and market research to stay ahead of industry trends and best practices.

◦ Set and manage the marketing budget, ensuring effective ROI on all initiatives.

5 Team Leadership & Cross-Department Collaboration:

◦ Lead marketing function, fostering a culture of creativity, innovation, and results-driven performance.

◦ Collaborate closely with the sales, design, and manufacturing teams to ensure marketing strategies align with business goals and product launches.

◦ Act as a brand ambassador, ensuring consistent messaging and positioning across all touchpoints.

 

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, Business, or related field. MBA preferred.

• 5+ years of marketing experience, with a minimum of 3 years in a leadership role within the luxury, lifestyle, or premium goods sector.

• Strong technical expertise in digital marketing, SEO, SEM, Google Analytics, email marketing platforms, and e-commerce.

• Proven track record of growing e-commerce revenue and optimizing websites for luxury brands.

• Exceptional content marketing and storytelling skills, with a deep understanding of the luxury consumer mindset.

• Data-driven decision-making skills, with the ability to translate insights into actionable strategies.

• Strong leadership and team-building experience, with a collaborative approach to working across departments.

• Excellent communication and presentation skills.
