Recruiting Policies

By participating in any of our services or events, you agree that your organization is an Equal Opportunity Employer offering employment without regard to gender, age, disability, race, color, religion, marital status, veteran’s status, national or ethnic origin, or sexual orientation. Failure to comply will lead to the removal of services.

Job postings from any third-party recruiter charging a fee or restricting complete access to all job information are strictly prohibited. Babson College reserves the right to accept or decline any postings submitted through our e-recruiting system (Career Connect powered by 12Twenty).

If you have any questions about our policies, please contact us at gradccd@babson.edu

The Babson Graduate Center for Career Development is committed to maintaining the confidentiality of all information stored within Career Connect and will not sell, transmit, or disclose in any capacity this information to any other organization.

Grad CCD asks organizations to compensate competitively for students’ time and talent. While we do allow unpaid internships in Career Connect, the posting must clearly state that the internship is unpaid. We do not approve unpaid full-time positions in Career Connect.

By posting positions in Career Connect, you agree to the following statement:

“I understand there are Federal and State guidelines which determine whether interns should be compensated under the Fair Labor Standards Act for the services they provide. I confirm that I have reviewed the U.S. Department of Labor Wage and Hour Division for resources on compensation and employee rights, including Fact Sheet #71: Internship Programs Under the Fair Labor Standards Act for guidance on unpaid internships.”

We do not approve job postings for commission-only roles. We do allow roles that are based partially on commission but have a base salary. This distinction must be clearly outlined in the job description.

As a part of our commitment to maintaining fair and equitable recruitment practices, we do not allow job opportunities that require students to pay a fee in order to participate or be considered for an opportunity to be posted in Career Connect

We understand that there may be legitimate fees associated with certain programs or services, but we cannot allow job opportunities that require students to pay for the opportunity itself.
